I just read up on a Yahoo article concerning that poor children who cannot afford lunch are automatically given a cheese sandwich. In one way at least these children are being fed. But yet also poor children are being singled out and other complaints have been made.

What do you think?

Although being singled out must be horrible for these kids, I think with the economy what it is today, this will become more and more common, accepted and maybe even praised. I realize these kids are used to pizza and hot dogs and a cold cheese sandwich with no butter feels inhumane to them, but like you said, at least they are getting fed. And it's healthy.
